Scuba Diving Gear for Beginners and Advanced Divers

When I started Diving I became aware of the need for Scuba Diving Gear.  This gear or equipment was supplied to me by the dive shop during my certification training.  This was also a time for me to try different types of scuba diving gear to try to determine what I liked the best and was most comfortable wearing.

With so many different types of scuba diving gear available, I was lost as to what I should buy and what I actually needed to be safe while I was underwater. This is where my local dive shop helped me by letting me try different scuba diving masks, scuba fins, scuba regulators, scuba bcd's, scuba weights and belts and so on.

You may be looking to purchase your very own scuba diving gear for the first time or you may already know what types of diving gear you prefer.  You may be loooking to just update your current diving gear with the newer models that are now available. New scuba gear is produced every year that is safer and more efficient that previous models. Hopfully you have been able to dive so much that your old scuba diving gear is getting worn and you need to replace it due to age and overuse.

Your safety and fun depend on your scuba diving gear functioning properly without problems.  There is nothing worse than getting to the dive site and finding out that your scuba equipment has a problem and now you can not make the dive.

The following information shows what you might need to consider when looking for Scuba Diving Gear :
